OUR MISSION PASTON

Our mission is to develop a welcoming community of students Paston who support each other on our common quest for growth, strength and confidence through physical fitness and dance. Whether you are looking to tone, stretch, flaunt your sexy side, host a party, or Paston calm your mind, Xaver will have the perfect class for you!

OUR CLASSES PASTON

INTRO AND LEVELED CLASSES

Intro to Pole: This is our first level and is for pole beginners and newbies. We will work on all the basics needed to Paston move up levels and to  take our choreography based classes (which we call Pole Flow). You will learn basic pole spins, pivot turns, climbs and sits.  
 

Pole level 1: We will work on forearm climbs, chair spins, side climbs, more advance sits and basic inversions and knee holds, like lay backs and Paston jasmine. We will be working on strengthening for our choppers and getting comfortable in our basic inversion (aka Bat).    
 

Pole level 2: This class is where we will really start to work on your inverts! We will work on leg hangs, butterfly, shoulder mount prep, jade splits, genie and more! We will start basic combo building and strength training preparing you for aerial Paston inverts.  
 

Pole level 3-4: This is our most advanced pole class! We will work on building combos on static and spin. Start working on advance tricks like Ayesha's, handsprings and more!

FLOW CLASSES PASTON

Beginners Pole Flow: This is our beginner Level Flow class. We recommend that students have taken a minimum of 3 Intro to Pole classes prior to trying flow, as you will need to have some familiarity with pole and the basic spins to help you put them together into a choreography. Knee Pads and socks recommended (heels optional). 

 

Intermediate Pole Flow: Once you feel comfortable in Beginner Pole Flow, you can move up to Intermediate Pole Flow for more advance choreographies! Moves become more directionally challenging and more strength will be required. Knee pads, heels/socks required. 

 

Advanced Pole Flow: This is our most advance pole flow class! If you feel comfortable in our Intermediate Pole Flow class you may be ready to move up to this level! Flows will include pole tricks as part of the routine which will require more strength, flexibility and coordination. Knee pads and heels required.

STRENGTH & CONDITIONING PASTON

Pole Strength and Conditioning: This class focuses only on the strength building side of pole! This is an excellent class to take to help you advance faster and for injury prevention! Only requires one Intro to Pole class as a pre-req.

FLEXIBILITY & MOBILITY 

Flexibility and Mobility: This class will focus on flexibility for splits, backbends, and shoulder mobility to get you into those fun pole tricks safely! 

Pole Dancing Splits

CHAIR DANCE & FLOORWORK

Chair Dance & Floorwork: For those who want to tap into their sexy side without the pole this class will satisfy with movement with chair or just floorwork with weekly routines! No pre-reqs. Knee pads, sock required. Heels allowed.

MEET THE OWNERS PASTON

Xaver Pole Dance and Fitness will be owned by Tama Rangihaeata and James Whittaker. They were married in 2022. Both have a love for fitness and wellness and live their lives with those goals in mind.

​

Tama is a certified pole dance instructor at Elite Pole & Fitness in Bensalem, PA with an additional certification as a Pole Strong Strength and Conditioning Specialist from Body by Fran. She is also a certified Pilates instructor teaching at Club Pilates in Collegeville and Newtown, PA.  Starting off she will be the only instructor with more instructors to come.

​

Tama is also an Army Veteran, having spent a total of 9 years of service. She was honorably discharged as a Sergeant.
